1 causes of die-cutting burrs

in the process of cigarette label die-cutting, due to various reasons, filiform, powdery or serrated paper scraps, color ink powder or white spots are generated at the cut of the steel knife on the cigarette label, which is usually called die-cutting burrs in the industry. The main reasons for producing die-cutting burrs are as follows:

1) improper selection of die-cutting steel knife or what we usually call plastic long-term use temperature, the quality of the steel knife itself has defects, and the blade edge has curling defects, resulting in obvious burrs on the edge of die-cutting products

2) the overall pressure is adjusted too high during plate loading, and the steel knife edge is crushed

3) after local tool change, there was no local decompression, resulting in overpressure of the new tool and damage to the blade

4) due to the particularity of cigarette label products, long-term mass production is required, and the steel knife will be naturally worn to varying degrees during the manufacturing process. At this time, the product is barely broken rather than cut through by the blade, which is easy to produce burrs

5) the pressure is not enough, and the paper is not cut through, but torn when removing the edge of the waste paper

6) after long-term use, the steel plate at the bottom of the moving platform produces a knife groove, and the rough knife groove is very easy to seriously damage the steel knife, thereby causing burrs

7) the hardness and height of the adhesive strip on the knife side are inappropriate or the pasting distance is unreasonable. If the hardness is too low, the height is not enough or the paste is too far, the paper cannot be pressed effectively; The main business income of Shandong new materials is expected to reach 350billion yuan. If the height is too high or the pasting distance is too close, the paper will be forcibly pulled and broken by the adhesive strip before the knife is completely cut, which will cause burrs

9) the die cutting adaptability of the paper itself will also lead to the appearance of burrs to a certain extent. For example, the gold and silver composite paperboard is prone to filiform burrs, while the white card glass paperboard is prone to powdery burrs; The paper with shorter fiber is low-cost but prone to burrs, while the paper with longer fiber is relatively rare, but the cost is higher
